Managing Your Ear Time

Romans  10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

I have come to realise in this life, that if you must stay focused and consistent in any course of life, you must learn to manage your ear time.

Just like our text pointed out, FAITH IN GOD comes by hearing Gods word, so also FAITH IN MEN comes by hearing the words of men, FAITH IN A VISION comes by hearing the words of the vision, FAITH IN VICTORY comes by hearing the words of victory, FAITH IN FAILURE comes by hearing the words of failure, FAITH IN THE DEVIL; OCCULTISM comes by hearing the words of the devil. Let me quickly point out these; FAITH IN DISCOURAGEMENT comes by hearing the words of discouragement, FAITH IN DISOBEDIENCE & REBELLION comes by hearing the words of rebellion.

Whenever you see someone who was committed to following a vision or is submitting to man, start acting strange towards the vision or towards the man he once respects and honour, just know that such a person has given his EAR TIME to wrong words coming out from someone. Mind who you give your ear time, if you must be focus in pursuing Gods course for your life.

I was watching a foreign series movie one day, when a word from the line of the script of one the actors, struck me so hard. The young man left his wife at home and went out for a business trip, but his wife was not fully aware of the details of the business trip and with all facts of proves, this young lady did not really know the man she got married to too well. They met, got attracted to each other, dated for months, later got married and have lived together for two (2) years plus as husband and wife. So they have been together for more than two years, if you add the months they dated, plus/minus it should be up to 3years plus.

In all these years they have been together, this man has never one day gotten involved in any criminal act, he had a responsible job doing, he respects people. In fact a lovely person to be with. When it comes to their family, They love, respect and adore each other. So on that faithful day, the man left the house, both of them had a nice time together before he left. Only for him to call the wife few hours after he left but she did not pick up the call. The man kept calling and calling, he needed to hear his wife's voice, suddenly the lady picked and did not say anything. She was behaving strange over the phone. At that point I expected the man to say anything to show he was angry with the way his wife was responding to him over the phone but to my greatest surprise the words I heard, was not what I was expecting. This man kept calm, he observed from the reply of his wife, that something has gone wrong. Then he asked his a wife this question "WHO HAVE YOU BEEN LISTENING TO?"

My beloved brethren I will want you to sit down and think about all the people you have been given your EAR TIME, take note of the once whose words have brought negative Faith in your life and disconnect from them before it may be too late.

Please always bear this in mind, that whoever has your EAR TIME has a part in your destiny.

Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom on Saturday escaped unhurt as the Reigners Bible Church International building in Uyo collapsed during a worship session. The governor was the special guest of honour at the consecration service of the Founder of the church, Apostle Akan Weeks, as bishop. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Reigners Bible Church International building, situated on Uyo Village Road, was still under construction when it collapsed.
